Yılmaz Zenger


Yılmaz Zenger, who was born in 1933 in Ankara, was a world-renowned architect, sculptor, and designer.

In 1958, he graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a diploma in Architecture. At the start of his career as a city planner, he also took part in academic projects. He was one of the co-founders of The Building Information Centre, which he was a board member of for many years. Besides carrying out architectural projects, Zenger got involved in visual arts and sculpting. His artwork gained both nationwide, and worldwide reputation, subsequently enabling him to work on many international art projects, personal art exhibitions, and over 200 designs ranging from jewelry to furniture.

On August 2, 2018, Yılmaz Zenger passed away; leaving countless creative designs, achievements and an impeccable work ethic that shall live on.
